For this project, I created a Vogue cover and two spreads based on artist/photographer, Petra Collins.

I began this project by doing a bunch of research on Petra Collins. She is best known for her stunning photographs and films that focus on girlhood, both the positive and negative aspects of it. She photographs through the female gaze and sheds a darker perspective onto beautiful, feminine compositions. Keeping this in mind, I decided to make sure that the color palette and mood of this magazine was full of pastel colors, as well as softer images that reflect her style and iconic aesthetic.
